The final trial for the Cork Team was held in Fermoy on Monday night.Of the 6 places available on the team four of them were taken by Fermoy players.James Devonshire,Ryan Sexton,Daniel O'Regan and Wayne Galvin did their club proud by qualifying. This is a fantastic achievement by the Fermoy lads and we wish them every success representing their County in their upcoming games.
Monday night was also a national qualifer and again our players were well represented after the scores were calculated.James Devonshire was the leading qualifier with an incredible score of 17 under par,he was followed closely by Wayne Galvin,Ryan Sexton, and Darragh Scott.Well done to Darragh as this was his first success in a competition outside of the club.Forty of the best Juveniles in Cork took part and with only 10 qualifying places available four of them went to Fermoy players.
